Jerard bought his first fixer-upper in 2005 and has been on all sides of a real estate transaction both personally and professionally ever since. From under ground construction, framing, financial analysis and investing, to real estate and mortgage sales, his experience is well rounded to say the least.

Early on, he was a union carpenter and worked in his family’s construction company where he gained knowledge and experience to be able to build homes from the ground up, in addition to working on various commercial, underground, and structural projects.

After graduating from San Diego State University, with a bachelor’s degree in finance, he moved to Charlotte, NC. He held a North Carolina real estate agent license, and was active for a period of time while he built financial models and did analysis of undervalued rental properties that he and his team acquired and managed. During this time he was simultaneously working in banking and markets in various credit, trading, risk, and analysis positions for a 10 year period at large banks and boutique investment firms.
